ESP's contractor is now underway with the work that needs to be done to remove some external wall components and replace them with materials that comply with the government’s current safety standards. 

 Now that ESP have the right contractor on board, the improvement works programme will began at the end of January 2024. It is estimated the work will take around 11 months to complete. 

Scaffolding will be put up around sections of the building and contractors will be on site to carry out the work. You will see workers on site and on the scaffolding, together with equipment and building materials. 

Part of Havant Street will be closed off to create a fenced secure compound away from the main entrance to Europa House. You will still be able to access the building as normal and the pedestrian pathway on Benbow Place side of Havant Street will remain open. 

 Working with ESP and their contractors, we will do our best to make sure that the improvement works will not affect your use and enjoyment of both the accommodation and facilities at Europa House. While some disturbance is likely while the works are carried out, our onsite team will ensure that any disruption is kept to a minimum.
